Looking humans in the eye

Mirror Mirror on the wall, something is wrong here
It's surreal, like a dream or fantasy as we humans look upon ourselves, as ..
How humans look at themselves in the mirror in the morning ..

Mark Devries did a fantastic job in this documentary. I've seen numerous animal rights documentaries, and this one was quite different. From the beginning he takes the view of everyday people who are hesitant to believe the horrors that happen to animals, or who refuse to grasp it, and then he talks to multiple scholars in the field who persuade you throughout the movie that what is happening is wrong. Parts of this movie continues to pop into my head everyday. This movie has reinforced the feelings I already had and I am even more outraged that the majority of the world continues to see animals as machines for human use. I think the film was great, and I plan on showing this movie to many in my community. I hope it has an everlasting impact on how people perceive and treat non-human animals.

Bay Of Quinte

Bay of Quinte ra ra ra.
Catching walleye ha ha ha.
Up and down The Reach.
To Picton Bay with my leech.
Deep and wide open.
Spreading her arms north and east.
Without a word hardly spoken.
Shore lunch was a feast.
Trolling slow headed north.
Then east in Hay Bay Back and forth.
I could stay here all day.
Bay of Quinte ra ra ra.
Catching walleye ha ha ha.

Surreal and Beautiful Iceland

Iceland has so much to offer.Fire and smoke with beautiful sunsets, not excluding surreal aurora scenes  and picturesque  eyecandy.
An incredible whirlwind of gas and fire, swirling 3,280ft (1km) into the air, has been captured above Iceland’s Bardarbunga volcano.
